Beautiful People
By Njoku SaintJerry A.

What a world we living in today
Beautiful faces all smiling people
Kiss peace and hatred
More than ever before
What a beautiful world
We are living in today

Fancy craft picturesque
All turned humans now
Honestly I saw a lady
Look like the painting I did last night
The weirdest imagination
Of the mind of an Artist
This angel on my canvass
People really becoming beautiful these days

Any man adorn a color not his own?
Anybody on a borrowed smile?
Any color to hide those dark sides
Where are these masks from?

Honestly, these are pure works of art
The weirdest imagination
In the mind of an artist
Fancy picturesque all turned humans now

Gone is the day of the short people
Very hairy dark skinned lot
Thick lips and blood shot eye
Crude fat short men
Dressed in drabs, adorned on leaves

Where are the gawks
Those half fed scare crows you call giants
Unkempt blood thirsty tribesmen
I can't find them any longer
In many place

I learnt age is making the people shed off
Them ugly tarts now
A machine been added to the sixth sense
And new life has begun
From up and round the corner
Life has become simpler

Sweaty stress less free

Brother Didi has a haircut now
A fancy haircut
Mother Christian sets her hair in a machine
Right there in the jungle
Where only us admire beauty our own way

O' what a beautiful world
This new people living in today
Beautiful faces all smiling people
With the best craft
To change your skin
Remake yourself to suit your style
Make yourself and angel and be happy
In this new world of misery and pain.
